Interesting Facts:
I have been racing pretty much for as long as I can remember.
There are only a few memeories that occur before I started proper swim training.
I started swim training when I was about 6 or 7 years old, 3km a day and built from there. I started to run that winter in school athletics and eventually moved into Triathlon towards the end of Primary School. I was a serious swimmer, but started serious tri training in Standard 8. From then I have just tried to improve each year.
Im my second year out of school, I left for Germany with my younger brother, Brad, and ended up racing the German summers for 7 years. It was really cool for the most part. Hard but good.
I raced my first Ironamn over there in 2004, a 8:59 hours in Quelle Challenge Roth. I had such a good day. Four Ironaman races later and that is still my quickest time. The conditiond were perfect but. Since then I've finished 5th in Ironman South Africa eith a 9:06, hopefully I go quicker soon.
