TEAM WILD had some good results over this past weekend with some great
exposure for the sponsors.Carl Storm, Glen Gore and Carla Germishuys
were in action on Saturday morning up in Johannesburg at the finals of the
Virgin Active indoor triathlon series. Carl was a regional winner in KZN whilst
Glen and Carla were invited athletes who were pitted together against the very
best SA had to offer from all the other various regions.

Carla just fresh from her 8th place finish at the world triathlon championships
in Germany just 2 weeks back, showed impressive form even though she
was still suffering from a bit of jet lag. She came home in 3rd place and TV
coverage for TEAM WILD was massive to say the least.

Carl flew the flag for team wild men and narrowly missed out on winning
overall but he ended up settling for 2nd place. Glen managed a 4th place
with the youngsters just getting the better of him this time. Overall a fantastic
PR exercise for TEAM WILD with our sponsors benefiting big-time.

Sunday saw Glen and Carl in action during the Bonitas Gateway Cycle
Challenge held in Durban. Carl came home in 2nd place in the men’s
open 107km un-licensed section with Glen taking 4th. The camera crew
were there to film the footage and TEAM WILD was once again in the mix
with some great exposure.

The Indoor triathlon series will be covered on m-net supersport shortly as
well as the gateway cycle challenge getting airtime on supersport as well.
